Greetings from our family mini-van! Oh, the wonders of technology — powered by thumbs!

We’re currently traveling through Wisconsin, on our way to see family and friends in Minnesota; but I needed to get one more post in before my vacation can officially begin.

If you read my post on Monday, then you learned about some exciting news regarding a couple of books I have in the works.

You would have also noted that at the bottom of that post I alluded to ANOTHER BIG ANNOUNCEMENT coming this week…

Well this is that announcement!

Faith ON Campus is excited to announce the creation of the Faith ON Campus Summer Institute!

This time is designed with campus and college ministers in mind (but is opened to anyone who would classify themselves as a mentor to college students).

It will include a mix of deep, focused teaching and conversation during our sessions with our featured guest, with ample opportunity for personal reflection and professional connection over extended breaks and long lunches.

The first annual Summer Institute will take place June 4-5, 2013 — just over 11 months from now — on the campus of Belmont University in Nashville, TN.

The featured guest for this inaugural event will be popular author, speaker, and leadership guru Tim Elmore!

The official Summer Institute site will launch in mid to late July, which will include a lot more of the details, as well as the opportunity to register.

And you won’t want to wait too long before you register, as this event will be limited to the first 99 registrants. The EARLY, early bird rate will be $149 — an incredible deal!

So as you begin to make your conference plans for the coming year, consider a trip to Nashville next June — trust me when I say that you won’t regret it!
