Next week I’ll be pushing my introverted self to my outer limits, as I once again brave the crowd for the 2012 Catalyst Conference.
I consider it a good exercise in putting aside my own desires (to only be in rooms containing a small number of people — ideally, people I know to some degree), in order to hear from some of the leading thinkers and practitioners in Christian ministry, as well as to connect with friends — many of whom I’ve only ever connected with online.
So if you’re going, I’d love to find a time and place to connect.
And if you’re a blogger, or dabble in blogging, or are thinking about starting a blog some day, you may want to consider joining a much smaller crowd on Wednesday evening (Oct. 3rd) at the Atlanta Bloggers Meetup.
The space is limited to 100 people — and about half of those spots have been filled. So if this is something you’re interested in, you may want to act now!
And if you’re not going, you can expect to find a number of posts here next week, and potentially the week after, reflecting on some of the great content I will undoubtedly take in over the course of this 3-day event.
While in Atlanta, I also plan to connect with Dr. Tim Elmore, the featured guest at the 2013 Faith ON Campus Summer Institute, happening June 4-5 in Nashville, TN! If you’re not familiar with him, or not checked out this upcoming event, now’s a great time to do so!
That’s all for today!
